Kamalia Sazali:

Associate Director of Clinical Operations

Kamalia comes to ObvioHealth with more than ten years of research experience. Beginning in consulting, her passion for research was fostered through primary research with industry experts, coding and organizing data, and assisting in market analysis and final client reports.

Merging that passion with her science background, she joined ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group, managing and leading Phase I-III clinical trials from concept to activation including the NCI-MATCH study, named the stepping stone in the Cancer Breakthroughs 2020 initiative (formerly Cancer Moonshot 2020), and considered the largest precision medicine cancer trial to date.

With experience in both clinical operations and data management, Kamalia has expertise in managing the full lifecycle of a clinical trial, including ICF and protocol development, study start-up, regulatory compliance, site communication and risk identification.

She holds a Master of Science in Public Health from City, University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from University of Connecticut-Storrs.
